What is the best advice you received that helped you get where you are today?

In my professional development, I did not have a mentor to offer advice. Throughout my career, what benefitted me the most, was working with generous people who shared their knowledge with me.

What was the biggest obstacle you overcame while pursuing your career goals?

Figuring out how to run a business. As a designer, the business side of a design practice is the most challenging, because we are not trained in business and business development.

What is a resource you wish you had better utilized when you were a student?

Asking for advice from my instructors. Learning more about business development and related design and environmental disciplines.
