Block Transfer

Block Transfer simplifies the credit transfer process for students who have completed an accredited associate degree. This method removes the need to determine course-by-course equivalency for general education courses to reduce credit-loss when transferring.

For more information, please refer to Block Transfer Guide.

Landscape Architecture Programs

Landscape Architecture has specific general education requirements (math and built environment history) so the total Block Transfer credit is lower than other majors.

BFA (120 units): 42 units block-transferred

Additional Credit Transfers

Block Transfer is used in combination with additional methods for credit transfer.

Math and built environment history courses are transferred based on transcript review.

Landscape Architecture courses are transferred based on portfolio and transcript review.
