B Arch Alum Fundraising to Battle Homelessness
B Arch alumnus Daniel Forthuber spent his thesis year on the topic of homelessness. View his thesis project featured at the 2020 Spring Show here.
He is carrying his mission forward and is currently raising funds to battle homelessness in Los Angeles where he lives with his family. Daniel and his 12-year-old son Samuel will be rappelling down a building from a height of 370 ft during the Over the Edge fundraising event organized by Union Rescue Mission. This PDF document explains the fundraiser in more detail.
Daniel has set an ambitious goal to raise $16,000. So far he has raised $6,100 and Samuel has raised $5,175. Let’s show them our support and help them reach their goal! If you would like to donate to this cause, please visit Daniel or Samuel’s page at links below. We are so proud of Daniel and his family for their advocacy and for taking taking the plunge to champion this cause.
