For online students who would like an immersive learning experience in San Francisco, we are offering an in-person workshop! It will be especially helpful for students new to drawing and model making. The itinerary will include field trips. In past years, field trips ranged from architecturally significant sites to architecture firms.
You will join your onsite classmates in class activities and work on assignments while in San Francisco. First year students will practice drawing and model making techniques real-time with architecture faculty at your side. Workspace, tools, and supplies will be provided in the architecture building at 601 Brannan Street. You must bring your own laptop and mouse (computer specs for architecture courses). For students new to making physical models, the in-person instruction will be very beneficial.
This workshop is being offered at no additional tuition cost. The university is offering at-cost twin-bed accommodations and meals in our dormitory for students who are traveling from out of town. You must arrange your own transportation.
This workshop will help you succeed in our program. – we hope you will take this opportunity to join us!
