Learn to make digital images and architectural drawings. Using industry software, lectures information, case studies, and tutorials, you will create digital collages, diagrams and drawings to represent an idea.
Prerequisite: ARH 170
Software: Rhino, Photoshop, Illustrator
Course Learning Outcomes
- Translate 3D digital models into legible and accurate 2D architectural drawings
- Draft orthographic architectural drawings using accurate drawing conventions
- Create coherent visual presentations using an efficient workflow of multiple software programs
- Explore ideas using Rhino digital modeling
- Distill and edit building information to produce cogent and clear analytical diagrams
- Articulate the differences between, and benefits of, parallel and perspective projections
- Combine digital and analog drawing methods
