A post that is exciting to highlight (screenshots below) – a group of 4th year ARH students formed a team with UC Hastings Law students and entered a UC-based competition. They won funding to build prototypes of mobile and digitally tracked storage boxes for the unhoused who are caught in the sweeps that the city conducts – based on the projects they did in Doron and Sameena’s 3rd year studio. They have been working this summer to build the prototypes to get ready for a presentation in the fall to the UC audience. The law students are looking into creating a non-profit to continue with the effort. We will post updates about the presentation to this Slack! Super exciting!
