
Fabiana Possamai Wills

Fabiana Possamai Wills is an architect and urban designer. Her interdisciplinary work combines research, design, and collaborates with local cultural organizations to explore on the renewal of inactive landscapes, sprawling urban areas, and the intersection between infrastructure and architectural design to generate strategies that promote sustainable environments and the activation of urban spaces.
She has taught several graduate design studios and seminars at Mills-Northeastern University, Academy of Art University, Florida International University and Florida Atlantic University in the Department of Architecture and Urbanism as well as an invited professor at the Universidad Central de Venezuela in Caracas.
Fabiana is the founder of Lugar Común Arquitectura and has finished several projects in Venezuela since 2010. She has also worked in several residential and commercial projects in Florida and California.
She was invited to the XI National Biennial of Architecture 2014 in Caracas, Venezuela, and the X Ibero-American Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism 2016 in Sao Paolo, Brazil to show the project “La Casa de la Abuela”. In 2012 she was invited to participate in the Glen Murcutt International Master Class.
Fabiana has a degree in Architecture from the Central University of Venezuela and a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design and Urban works from the California College of the Arts.
