This lecture presents the current issues in the practice of architecture in China and Yim’s collaboration as an architect with the Academy of Art University graduate Jinmeng Chen and her office in Tianjin. The dialogic merges Jinmeng’s education, the practice-based process of the state-owned institution of China and the influences of work such as Zhu Pei and Liu Yichun.
