Course Description
This course prepares you for the final Master of Architecture Thesis course. You’ll begin by thinking through an architectural problem critically, identifying an area of investigation that is based on your years of study in the program, and encompassing social equity concerns and environmental considerations, among other. You will build on this architectural thesis concept throughout the semester by conducting extensive research on a selected site, developing a program, analyzing your expected user group with special attention to inclusivity, and assembling a typology study. At the end of the course you will present your proposal in the Midpoint Review, ensuring you will be fully prepared to move into the final thesis course of the program.
