As a Landscape Architect and Associate Principal at Bionic, Pete has played a key role in the design and implementation of projects varying in scale from the 24 Acre LinkedIn Middlefield campus in Mountain View to the Museum of Craft and Design “Flashlight” Parklet, both of which received the ASLA Northern California Honor Award.

What is the best advice you received that helped you get where you are today?
Good drawings make good meetings
What was the biggest obstacle you overcame while pursuing your career goals?
I’m not naturally gifted at drawing by hand, as I went along in my career understanding how to use hand drawing as a communication and design tool to the best of my ability and supplementing and combining that with digital drawing tools has been very valuable
What is a resource you wish you had better utilized when you were a student?
The wood shop, building things is a great learning tool!
