Kotting Luo is a licensed architect in San Francisco in his third decade of professional practice. His portfolio consists of built work in a wide range of scale, type, and location from supportive housing to luxury hotels, personal gyms to convention centers, and projects with clients from small municipalities to multi-billion-dollar developers.

While with SOM, he was a Design Studio Head responsible for award-winning projects including Moscone Center Expansion and new SF City Offices at 49 South Van Ness as well as multiple projects in China at the urban planning scale.

Originally from the Bay Area, he practiced in NYC during which time he worked on the Delancey and Essex Municipal Garage gaining design recognition.

He received a Master of Architecture from Graduate School of Design at the Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from UC Berkeley.
