Visiting a construction site is an illuminating experience. What we represent on paper and on screen come to life at 1:1 scale through the efforts of builders. Here are some photos from a recent construction site visit to a 100% affordable housing project in Santa Rosa designed by Saida Sullivan Architects. Mimi Sullivan is the principal of the firm and also the founder of the School of Architecture. Mimi led the tour explaining the students how the design was realized.
