Antonio Lao

Venezuela-born Antonio Lao is a licensed, established architect of the Bay area, with a Bachelor and Master Degrees in Architecture from University of California Berkeley. With over twenty years in practice, Antonio offers formidable design skills, extensive knowledge of the building practice, and a keen eye for detail. During his ten-year partnership with Timothy Rempel under Rempel-Lao Architects, Antonio successfully led the design and construction of many high-quality mixed-use and residential projects. His previous associations include Lars Lerup, Holt Hinshaw Pfau Jones, Koetter, Kim & Associates, Guillaume Julian Delafuente, and Skidmore, Owings & Merill (San Francisco). He has also continuously combined practice with teaching, serving as lecturer at UC Berkeley upon graduating for several years, and as assistant professor at Chinese University of Hong Kong from 1996-2000.
