Alexandra Neyman in the Future Fires Festival
Undergraduate Architecture faculty, Alexandra Neyman participated in the Future Fires Festival and its first one day event on March 18th, 2017. The first experimental exhibit, the Luminary, at the Midway Gallery in San Francisco combined art, architecture, music and technology. “Future Fires brings together artists, designers and architects from around the world who produce groundbreaking work using drones, robotics, VR, projection mapping and more.” Luminary housed five experimental exhibits. Alexandra was a part of the “Building the Future” drawing projection exhibit sponsored by the design agency Britelite Immersive. The exhibit included work of sustainable and innovative structures from nontraditional materials – all questioning the future of the industry through multidisciplinary research. The work and the exhibit has been also featured in the Architect Magazine.
