Summer Program
Do you want to intern at a firm that inspires you and helps you grow throughout your internship? Do you want to intern for a prominent Architecture and Interiors firm that does work nationwide? If so, you’ve come to the right spot!
We want to teach you the ins and outs of the industry, give you hands-on experience with real projects and let you see what life is like post-graduation! Come be part of our talented, creative staff for a semester or over the 2019 summer. We have openings in all three of our offices – Austin, Houston and Nashville – for architecture and interior design students. Don’t worry, we’ll work with you to make sure you get all academic credits. Even better, you will be get a buddy to shadow throughout your whole internship here.
Intern development experiences include:
- Charrettes with projects teams
- Project design and documentation (floor plans, RCPs, elevations, sections, etc.)
- 3D renderings
- On-site visits for field verification and observance of project construction
- Finish selection and ordering for project and/or furniture
- Space planning/test fit exercises
- Attending lunch and learn meetings/CEUs
- Attend client/consultant meetings for observation purposes
- Exposure to Principals (meetings, lunch, projects)
- NCARB Intern Development Program (IDP) support for architectural students (where applicable)
- Library updates
REQUIREMENTS:
- Interior Design Students: Junior and Senior level (within degree program)
- Architecture Students: 4th or 5th year
- Building Information Modeling (BIM)/Revit knowledge/experience
- 3D computer rendering skills
- Letter of recommendation
- Portfolio of recent work
