President’s letter to Students and Faculty

President’s Letter to Students and Faculty

Dear Academy of Art University Community,

I hope you and your families are doing well during this time of uncertainty.

Please know that Academy of Art University is continuing to offer all of our accredited degree programs online and fully servicing our students needs during this challenging time.

I am grateful to our Academy of Art University resilient community–the academic directors, our instructors and staff, and our students– for your dedication, innovative work and professionalism.

I am pleased to share a story that NBC Bay Area did on Academy of Art students and staff about the transition to online classes and how we have all adapted:

Our instructors and students continue to be on the forefront of learning and innovating what is creatively possible in a new and stringent set of circumstances–the hallmark of what it means to manage change and innovate in the real world.

From the decision to become a pioneer in online education twenty years ago, to the commitment to transition our learning environment to Zoom and the Learning Management System (LMS) for our onsite classes this semester, we are all in this together. Your spirit to forge on in the face of difficulty has been inspiring, and essential.

Sincerely,

President Stephens
