During the 2023 fall, AAU Graduate Students participated in the 4th Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism, contributing works for the International Global Studios initiative. The Advanced Design Studio under Faculty Eric Reeder worked on the topic of ‘Land Architecture, Land Urbanism’ theme, as graduate students designed ‘land-bridges’ over the Han River in Seoul, South Korea in one of three prescribed locations. Studio works of 31 Universities from around the world will be exhibited. The biennale in Seoul features forums, lectures, public programs, and exhibitions highlighting Seouls past, present, and future embracing urban ecological awareness for the next 100 years.
