Shruti Dixit has a decade of professional experience in master planning and landscape architecture projects across the world. She has worked on a wide range of projects of various scales, which have included hospitality and resort design, public parks, townships, institutional campuses, and historic landscapes. For the last five years she has immensely enjoyed teaching an introductory design studio to architecture and landscape architecture majors at the Academy of Art University. Shruti holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the School of Planning and Architecture in India and a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the Pennsylvania State University, where her work was recognized by the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA). She is a member of the ASLA, a LEED accredited professional and has a special interest in cultural landscapes and in placemaking endeavors. She enjoys creating places that are meaningful to the people who use them; and firmly believes that designers and planners can be active agents in making a positive impact on society through the quality of places they help create.
