Academy Cares: Point Perch at Hunter’s Point
Great news! Our Design Build Point Perch video is up for the people’s choice on the AIA page – We need voters!
“Point Perch,” a seating installation designed and built by AAU undergraduate architecture students together with the Hunters Point Community is documented in a short film and is a contender in the 2018 AIA (American Institute of Architects) Film Challenge! Students worked with neighbors over the spring 2018 semester to design, fund raise, and build a seating installation that transformed an underutilized outdoor space into a gathering space for the community.
