Student Design Fellowship

Get out of the classroom and into the field. We give design students the chance to get on-the-ground experience so that they can learn first-hand what it takes to make authentic design.

Throughout their summer fellowship, two future designers participate in the creation of original design from start to finish through visits to the showrooms, factories, and headquarters of Be Original Americas member companies. The fellowship is open to currently enrolled 2nd or 3rd year undergraduate students, studying at an accredited college/university in the United States. Students currently enrolled in industrial design, interior design, architecture, or entrepreneurial-focused programs are encouraged to apply.

In addition to being able to commit full-time to Be Original Americas’ 5-week fellowship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
•3.0 GPA or higher
• United States citizenship or legal resident alien status who reside in the United States
• 18 years of age or older
• A valid passport
