Shaum Mehra

For more than 15 years Shaum Mehra has been working with buildings, both in architectural offices and as a self-employed licensed general building contractor. During this time, Mehra has worked on almost every type of building, from commercial, residential, to government, and institutional. Four years ago, he co-founded ArchHive, a design/build firm based in San Francisco. They are a process driven firm, pushing concept all the way through to completion. Their main interest lies in exploring the boundaries of material and methodology. ArchHive performs all of their own fabrication, and are proficient in almost all categories of computer-aided cutting and milling.
