Open position for internship

Chambers + Chambers Architects is looking for a candidate, preferably past their third year, who is interested in both Architecture and Interior Design. This is really important, as the candidate would be working alongside both professions. Ideally, the intern would be available 2-3 times per week for a few hours. The location for the internship would be Mill Valley, so candidates must be willing to travel.

Daily tasks:

Drafting, model building (physical and in SketchUp), assist with material library, putting together digital boards, product sourcing, office organization, running errands (infrequent but possible), and conducting research

Responsibilities:

Assisting team members with various aspects of a project from start to finish

Prior Knowledge:

• AutoCAD
• SketchUp
• Adobe Suite (Photoshop and InDesign mainly)
• Excel
• Working knowledge of drawing sets

What you will gain from this role:

Experience in an office environment with real projects at varying stages of completion, job-site experience and a letter of recommendation.

The internship will pay $15/hour
