Architecture Faculty members win Competition in Málaga, Spain

School of Architecture faculty members Jaime Daroca Guerrero, José Mayoral Moratilla and José Ramón Sierra Y Gómez de León’s practice PRACTICA together with Daroca Arquitectos have been awarded the first prize for the competition proposal for the “New Forms of Habitation – The Green Block” competition in Málaga (Spain). The competition was looking for innovative designs of public housing in Malaga. The winning proposal titled “Al Sur”, offers a new housing typology based on energy efficiency, sustainability, and urbanization from a human and ecological perspective.
