Aja Jeanty
Through her experiences studying and living abroad, including Copenhagen, Vicenza, Bangkok and most recently Santiago, Chile, Aja has been motivated by discovering what gives identity to different cities and how the urban form shapes our everyday lives. Approaching projects with the objective of improving people’s experience of their city, she is particularly focused on how the design of high-quality public spaces can help tackle inequality, especially in marginalized communities. She graduated from the Harvard Graduate School of Design and has a background in architecture and psychology. She is a Designer in the San Francisco office of the global urban research and design consultancy Gehl.
