EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate will have a professional undergraduate or master’s degree in Architecture or in a related field.

QUALIFICATIONS

This position requires excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills for use in an interactive design team environment. An ability to work at a variety of project scales, from urban design to detailed drawings, is fundamental. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise in AutoCAD and Revit and be proficient with hand drawing and writing skills. Fluency in Adobe Photoshop and In-Design are necessary, SketchUp experience is a plus, as well as work experience applying these skills in an office setting. This position provides the opportunity for growth and advancement.

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for self-motivated, ambitious and talented individuals to be at the center of Hart Howerton’s planning and design of residential, hospitality and mixed-use development projects at multiple scales in the US and abroad.

Working closely with a team, the Architectural Designer will help inform key design decisions on architectural and urban design projects. Tasks will include support and assistance in preparing and completing construction drawings, design studies and sketches. Strong and versatile design skills as well as sketching and/or model building skills are a plus.
