Elizabeth Tippin

Elizabeth A. Tippin, an attorney in private practice in San Francisco, has specialized in providing business and litigation services to design professionals, including architects, engineers and related design professionals, since 1984. Committed to designing and building sustainable, high performance buildings, she is a USGBC Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP). Concurrent with her private practice, Ms. Tippin served as an Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) and continues to provide dispute resolution services. As an ALJ for the State of California she has presided over cases involving licensing and discipline of professionals. Her dispute resolution services include special master, partnering, dispute review board, mediation and arbitration. Ms. Tippin has taught professional practices courses in the Architecture Departments of the Academy of Art University and UC Berkeley. She is an Allied Member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
