Mark Myers
Graduate Faculty
Mark Myers has been designing residential and small commercial projects for 18 years. Before establishing his own practice in 2006, Mark worked and collaborated with several design-oriented architectural firms in NYC, Boston and San Francisco, with projects also in Hawaii and Kazakhstan. Mark became interested in architecture after viewing images of the work of Mies Van der Rohe in high school. The images allowed him to question the physical world we inhabit, and opened him up to the possibilities of the man-made environment. Mark has a commitment to understanding how the physical world interacts with our emotional well-being, and thus how design plays an important role in our daily life. Mark graduated from Boston Architecture College in 1998. His Clara Street project was on the 2013 AIA San Francisco Living Home Tours. He also received honorable mentions for the Portland Living Smart Housing Competition in 2004, and the ASCA/Du Pont design competition for the Corcoran School of Art in Washington DC. Mark lives with his wife and son in San Francisco.
