Drake Hawthorne

Drake Hawthorne received his BA in Fine Arts and BS in Biological Sciences from UC Davis in 1992. He attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in the summer of 1994, after which he completed his MFA at the Rinehart School of Sculpture (Maryland Institute, College of Art) in 1996. Drake maintained a studio and workshop in NYC fabricating furniture and millwork, until attending the Yale School of Architecture in 2003, where he earned my MArch in 2006. He then moved to Stuttgart, Germany and worked for Transsolar Ener-giectechnik, an environmental/climate engineering firm for one year. Drake is currently employed at Perkins+Will in San Francisco (since 2007) as a Project Architect/Designer.
