Ben Corotis

Benjamin Corotis received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Northwestern University in 1997. He went on to study at the University of California, Berkeley where he received Master’s degrees in Structural Engineering and Architecture, focusing on how structure creates space. Benjamin is a licensed Architect and Engineer and has been practicing architecture and structural engineering in the bay area for 13 years. He is interested in integrating structure and architecture as a single system into the design process to create a more meaningful integrated design. He is committed to creating spaces that are clean and modern and beautifully detailed. He has a broad experience in public and civic projects, parks and bridges, but also small scale residential projects. He has taught design studio and structures courses to architecture students at California College of the Arts in San Francisco and Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Ben has extensively traveled the last few years and has been inspired by the architecture of the world. He enjoys sketching architecture while traveling. His hobby is cooking which is also inspired by traveling and experiencing other cultures.
